Nigeria winger Alex Iwobi struggled as Everton held Tottenham Hotspur to a 1-1 draw in their Premier League clash at the Goodison Park on Sunday night, reports Completesports.com.
Dele Alli capitalized on Iwobi’s slack midfield pass to put Tottenham Hotspur ahead in the 69th minute.
Heung-Min Son collected the ball and fed Alli,the England man skipped past Lucas Digne and slotted coolly into the bottom corner from 18 yards.
Turkey forward Cenk Tosun however equalised for the hosts in the 97th minute after Andre Gomes suffered a horrific ankle injury, for which Heung-Min Son saw red.
Iwobi played the entire duration of the game.
He has one goal in nine league appearances for Everton this season.
Everton next game is away to Southampton on Saturday.
