Wilfred Ndidi provided an assist but it was not enough as Leicester lost 2-1 at home to Aston Villa in Saturday’s Premier League fixture.
It has not been the best of return to the Premier League for the Foxes as they are now winless in their opening three games with just one point and are in 15th place.
Aston Villa took the lead in the 28th minute before Jhon Duran doubled the lead on 63 minutes.
In the 73rd minute Leicester pulled a goal back after Ndidi set up Facundo Buonanotte.
All efforts to get something out of the game proved abortive as Villa held on to claim the three points.
