Napoli sporting director Mauro Moliso admitted that the club could have sold Victor Osimhen last summer.
Osimhen was linked with the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United last summer following his spectacular campaign with Napoli.
The Nigeria international scored 26 goals in 32 league appearances to help Napoli win the Scudetto for the first time in over three decades.
Saudi club Al Ahli were on also keen on luring the striker away from Italy.

Osimhen however signed a new contract last December with a release clause worth €130m.
The huge release has scared off interested suitors which has left the striker’s future uncertain.
Moliso said the Serie A club were wrong not to have sold Osimhen last summer.
“We made some mistakes in Osimhen’s management. I arrived in Naples in mid-July and I knew that there had been a very high offer from one of the biggest teams in Europe. In hindsight, we are all good, but perhaps we could have sold him” he told Sportitalia via Corriere dello Sport.
