LaLiga club Getafe have lined up a loan move for Umar Sadiq ahead of the 2024/25 season.

Sadiq has struggled to get into Real Sociedad’s first team since returning from the injury that sidelined him for major part of last season.

The 27-year-old has scored three goals in 26 league appearances for Real Sociedad this season.

The big forward has not register a goal in his last 11 league outings for the club.

Sadiq has also played just 22 minutes in his last seven appearances for Sociedad.

According to Football Espana, Getafe are interested in the Nigeria international ahead of next season.

Getafe boss Jose Bordalas is eyeing the striker as a replacement for Enes Unal, who joined Premier League club Bournemouth in January.
