Moses Simon has underwent successful surgery for the injury he sustained while on international duty this week.
Simon fractured his left leg during Nigeria’s 2-0 friendly defeat against Mali at the Grand Stade de Marrakech, Morocco on Tuesday.
The winger had to be stretchered off the pitch after colliding with Mali goalkeeper Mamadou Samassa in the 35th minute.

The 28-year-old will miss the rest of the season following the setback.
Simon is expected to begin his rehabilitation process after the surgery.
He has registered three goals and six assists for Nantes this season.
