Former Chelsea midfielder Glenn Hoddle believes it is time for Victor Osimhen to join a Premier League club.

Osimhen helped Napoli claimed the Scudetto for the first time in over three decades last season.

The 25-year-old scored 26 goals in 32 league appearances.

The Nigeria international signed a new contract last December but is still expected to leave Partenopei this summer.

The powerful striker has been linked with the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain.

Hoddle stated a move to the Premier League is most ideal for the forward at this stage of his career.

“He’s a Premier League player looking at him, the style of him as well, and the league, the style suits him, but he’s got his hunger back,” Hoddle said on TNT Sports.

“That’s the main thing. I think now he’s back to his best. He’s got the hunger, and the movement, he wants to score goals. That’s the big difference, the mindset,”

Osimhen has scored 13 goals in 24 appearances across all competitions for the Partenopei this season.
