Alhassan Yusuf and William Troost-Ekong trained with their Super Eagles teammates on Wednesday as they begin preparations for the Round of 16 clash with the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon.

Yusuf sustained a thigh injury in Super Eagles’ opening fixture against Equatorial Guinea.

The Royal Antwerp star missed the team’s last two group games against hosts Cote d’Ivoire and Equatorial Guinea due to the setback.

Vice-captain Troost-EKong also took part in the session held at the Police College, Cocody.

Troost-Ekong missed Monday’s 1-0 victory against Guinea-Bissau with injury.

The PAOK Salonica centre-back is expected to be fit for the game against Cameroon.

The Super Eagles will tackle Rigobert Song’s side at the Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium on Saturday.
