A Cole Palmer first half penalty earned Chelsea a 1-0 win against Fulham at Stamford Bridge in Saturday’s Premier League game.

It is now four straight wins for the Blues at home in the Premier League.

The last time Chelsea failed to win at home in the league was in November 2023 in the thrilling 4-4 draw against Manchester City.

For Palmer, he has taken his tally in the league to nine in 17 appearances so far this season.

Chelsea were awarded a penalty deep in first half stoppage time following a foul on Raheem Sterling.

Palmer stepped up to send the keeper the wrong way to give his side the lead in fourth minute of first half.

The former Manchester City forward has converted all five of his penalty attempts in the league.

With the win, Chelsea move up to eight position on 31 points in the league standings.
