Real Madrid midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni has rated Nigerian music superstar, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido as his favourite afrobeats artist.

In an interview with Kick Game UK hosted by Craig Mitch, Tchouameni enthusiastically mentioned that Davido is his “guy.”

The host asked: “[Who is] Your favorite Afrobeats artist?”

Tchouameni responded: “Davido, that’s my guy.”

In addition to expressing his musical preference, the French midfielder also claimed to have pioneered the widely-recognized goal celebration of pointing at the head, asserting that he did it before English forward, Marcus Rashford.

Tchouameni playfully declared, “Me! I have to say it. Marcus, you know my bro. You know it.”
