Lobi Stars head coach, Eugene Agagbe, has commended his team for working hard for the away win against Kwara United.
The Makurdi club defeated their hosts 2-0 at the Kwara Sports Complex on Sunday.
Agagbe claimed that the target was to beat the home team to broaden their chances of top three finish.

“I thank the players for the hard work. However, they will need to work harder because our aim was to be among the first three at the end of the season, to win a continental ticket,” the gaffer said after the game.
“Our target coming to Ilorin was to beat Kwara United. I have a better team, going by the statistics, even before the game today. We are more organised with the right technical and tactical discipline.”
Lobi Stars will host Kano Pillars in their next league game at the Lafia City Stadium on Sunday.
