Liverpool have extended their congratulatory message to Van Dijk following Netherlands’ victory over Senegal in Monday’s 2022 World Cup clash.

Goals from Cody Gakpo and Davy Klaasen late in the second half was enough to earn Netherlands the maximum points.

Premier League club, Liverpool have congratulated Oranje (Orange) defender Van Dijk and the Netherlands following their victory over Senegal at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

In a message via their official twitter handle, Liverpool celebrated Van Dijk’s impressive performance.

“A winning start for @VirgilvDijk and @OnsOranje at [email protected],”the club Tweeted.

Van Dijk has 49 appearances for the Netherlands scoring six goals. He has one goal in 14 Premier League games this season for Liverpool.
