Sports-Trek Foundation Africa, a non profit organization which empowers young people through sports and academics has congratulated former Super Eagles player, Daniel Amokachi, on his recent appointment as special assistant on sports to President Muhammadu Buhari.
Sports-Trek Foundation, which is preparing for the second edition of its annual sports camp in Lagos tagged “Lagos Invasion” post Covid-19 restrictions after an epoch first edition in Delta state in 2019, has discribed Amocachi’s, vast experience in sports management and pragmatic human development as one that would propel the youths for greater success in sports.
Humanitarian business Man and Chairman STFA’s, Mr. Tabuko Emanuel, in a statement in Abuja, discribes Daniel Amokachi’s, as an ideal role medel to young people given his service to Nigeria as an ex-internatiomal and former coach of the super eagles, coupled with the benevolent activities of the ‘Daniel Amokachi Foundation’ in communities across the country over the years.
Tabuko, added Amokachi’s, appointment as SA on sports to President Buhari, will further encourage several young people to see sports as a career part to opulence.
Daniel Amokachi’s appointment, which took effect from August 11, was announced by Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, last week.
