Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi made his 25th Premier League start of the season for Leicester City who lost 3-1 away to Tottenham Hotspur in Sunday’s Premier League clash at the Wembley Stadium, reports Completesports.com.
Davidson Sanchez put Spurs ahead against the run of play, and Christian Eriksen doubled the home side’s advantage shortly after Jamie Vardy had missed a penalty kick.
Vardy made amends scoring with 16 minutes left, and a last-minute goal from Son Heung-Min wrapped up the win for Mauricio Pochettino’s side who close the gap on leaders Liverpool to five points.
Leicester had the better of the opening stages in North London, and their first opportunity came in the eighth minute as Harry Maguire saw a header tipped over the crossbar by Hugo Lloris.
Harvey Barnes also had a chance to score but he fired his shot wide.

In the second half, Spurs doubled their advantage after Ricardo Ricardo Pereira gave the ball away and after linking up with Fernando Llorente. Eriksen fired a low shot into the bottom corner from the edge of the area.
Kelechi Iheanacho came on for Rachid Ghezzal in the 72nd minute of the game.
The game was Iheanacho’s 13th substitute appearance for Leicester City in 22 games this term.
