Former Manchester United midfielder created a record after netting a hat-trick in Shandong Luneng’s 3-2 win at Dalian Professional FC, in his first Chinese Super League (CSL) match since recovering from coronavirus.
Fellaini is now the first Belgian player to score a hat-trick in the Chinese topflight.
He scored three times in seven minutes in the second half to secure the win for Shandong Luneng over Rafael Benitez’s Dalian Professional.

Fellaini joined Shandong for a reported €12million in January last year after spending five and a half years with United.
