Super Eagles forward, Samuel Kalu is out of Girondins de Bordeaux’s Ligue 1 game against reigning champions, Paris Saint-Germain at the Parc des Princes which holds tonight (Saturday), Completesports.com reports.
And that is as a result of a suspension after the winger was shown a red card in his side’s 1-0 defeat to Olympique Marseille on Tuesday.
The Nigeria international who has played 17 league matches this season, making 13 starts received a straight red on 25 minutes for a nasty challenge from behind on Lucas Ocampos.
The 21-year-old will now miss tonight’s clash with PSG as he awaits further pronouncement concerning the tackle which might be an extended suspension.
Kalu who was the best Nigerian player in Europe in January, according to CIES Observatory which ranks the performances of players, has been a major player for Bordeaux since his arrival last summer.

He has also been in impressive form of late, having had a direct hand in three of the club’s last five goals.
The Super Eagles’ star has three league goals and two assists for Bordeaux, while also picking up three bookings.
Bordeaux are currently 12th in the French Ligue 1 table with 28 points from 22 games.
