Balogun Savours Wigan Away Win Vs Huddersfield

Leon Balogun is thrilled to see Wigan Athletic earn a 2-0 away win against Huddersfield Town in their Sky Bet Championship clash on Saturday, reports Completesports.com.

Goals from Jamal Lowe and Anthony Pikington helped the Latics secure another important win as they continue their fight against drop.

The victory, more than three months on since Latics’ last game, made it seven unbeaten and saw Paul Cook’s men move up to 17th in the table, with a fifth consecutive clean sheet in tow.

Balogun who missed the game due to injury took to the social media to celebrate the win.

“Well done lads, started right where we left off ?? @LaticsOfficial,”he wrote on his Twitter handle.

Balogun, who is loan at Wigan from Premier League outfit Brighton&Hove Albion has made six league appearances for the club.

Wigan will host Blackburn Rovers in their next Championship game next week Saturday.
