FC Ifeanyi Ubah have told Completesports.com that Private Clubs league is not entirely a bad idea but that they would need proper explanations from its organisers.

“Private clubs league is not a bad idea at all. But we need explanations. Is it (NPIFL) for fun? Will it run alongside the regular league that we are currently playing?
“We need to know because we don’t want to be seen as going against the the NFF.
“Mind you, our president is chairman of Anambra State FA so we believe in doing the right thing at the right time”.

the Anambra Warriors official who spoke to Complete Sports on Tuesday said since most of the proposed NPIFL league clubs are coming from the NNL, such issues as status of the league, benefits in terms of continental representation becomes imperative.
“NFF is the body statutorily empowered to run football in the country. They endorse the country’s representatives in continental football based on their positions in the league.
“So, now, between NPIFL and NPFL clubs, Who represents the country in CAF inter club competitions?
“These are issues that need to be streamlined”.
