Nigeria has recorded it’s first death from the deadly coronavirus disease.
Suleiman Achimugu, a former Managing Director of Pipelines and Products Marketing Company (PPMC) a subsidiary of Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, has died of Coronavirus.
Achimugu returned to Nigeria from the United Kingdom two weeks ago and last week tuesday, he reportedly started showing symptoms of the deadly virus.
He died around 2:00am Monday after coughing severely throughout Sunday.
His Family is accusing the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control of negligence since they were informed of his situation and they even took his blood sample for testing but they never got back to his family.
On Sunday afternoon, (22nd March) the former PPMC MD was coughing profusely, and his family called NCDC to inquire about his results.

One of his relatives while speaking to Sahara Reporters said:

“We are all currently under quarantine in the house,”
