Former Senate President Dr. Bukola Saraki has joined people around the world in mourning the passing of Queen Elizabeth of England.
Saraki praised the late Queen Elizabeth as a renowned queen, stateswoman, and the personification of royal grace in a condolence statement.
According to him, “the longest-serving British Monarch, Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II’s reign on the throne of her forebears will always be remembered for the remarkable achievements of the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth Nations.
“Today, we join the world to mourn the passing of this renowned monarch, matriarch of a great nation, distinguished stateswoman, and an embodiment of royal grace.
“We remember her sophistication, her dignity, and how she committed her life to the service of her nation, the world, and all its people.
“My family and I send our deepest condolences to King Charles III and the entire Royal Family. She will be greatly missed.”
