Twitter is an incredibly weird and wonderful app — all its 66 million worldwide users can attest to that. As well as hilarious memes that leave you questioning people’s sanity in fits of laughter, inspirational stories and life-changing moments are also shared and celebrated.
For Eli Waduba Yusuf, his life-changing moment came yesterday, when his hyperrealist pencil drawing was recognised by the famous comedian, Kevin Hart.
Do you know what my name SHEKWONUWADUBA means? “God is the way maker”

Inspired by the notable hyperrealist artist, Arinze Stanley — who spent the major part of last year exhibiting his pieces in multiple locations across America — Eli Waduba Yusuf is a strictly pencil artist who draws faces with uncanny precision.
One of the first projects Yusuf has shared is his phenomenal drawing of Kevin Hart. Upon completion, Yusuf uploaded his process and the final product unto Twitter, tagging Kevin Hart and appealing to the Twitter streets to share his work for the superstar to see.
Just two days later, the budding artist’s dreams came true, as Kevin Hart noticed and responded to Yusuf’s initial tweet. Not only did Hart see the drawing, he actually asked to buy it, and he then went on to commission three more pieces as a gift to his famous friends.
So, thanks to Twitter, the Kaduna-based artist will soon have four international celebrities in possession of his artwork. Amazing!
I see it and I want to purchase it…I also want to support you and your amazing talent by giving you a fee to do a pencil drawing of 3 of my celebrity friends that I can gift it to. DM your info and let’s get to work! https://t.co/ImOYa0UNlL
