Sadio Mané continues to dominate conversations in Liverpool, and rightfully so. For his consistently outstanding work on the pitch in recent times, the Senegalese player has just received the club’s ‘Player of the Month‘ award for March.

This is the second award Mané is taking home this season, after winning ‘Player of the Month’ in January. While that award was certainly warranted, his performance in March saw him completely transform into an unrivaled player in Liverpool – scoring five times in five appearances.

Starting with Liverpool’s game against Burnley, the 26-year-old scored two braces, helping the Reds make it to the Champions League quarter-finals. Before joining Senegal for the AFCON qualifiers, he also scored against Fulham – which turned out to be his 20th goal of the season in all competitions.

The most exciting thing about these goals is that he scored them within a space of seven days, lifting him all the way to number two on the Premier League top scorers’ table. Now, we look forward to the magic he’ll bring to Liverpool’s game against Southampton tonight.
