Trump, Putin send solidarity messages to Johnson in hospital

President Donald Trump of the United States of America and President Vladimir Putin of Russia have sent solidarity messages to the British Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, who is being hospitalized for coronavirus infection.

President Trump sent solidarity message to his “very good friend” wishing him speedy recovery.

President Vladimir Putin of Russia expressed optimism that Johnson’s “energy, optimism, and sense of humour” would see him through.

Other world leaders also sent their solidarity messages to the British Prime Minister who was hospitalised on Sunday as displayed symptoms of cough and high temperature 10 days after he was diagnosed with coronavirus.

He spent nine days in self-isolation in a flat above his Downing Street office when the symptoms were noticed to be persistent.
