Queen Elizabeth Honours 20-Year-Old Nigerian For Raising $2m For African Project

Nigerian-born Kennedy Ekezie has been honoured by Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom for engaging in a worthwhile venture of raising over $2 million to mentor young Africans.

Ekezie, 20, from Imo state, eastern Nigeria, raised the fund targeting young Africans all over the world, according to Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Chairman, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission.

“Imo State-born Kennedy Ekezie, gets honored by Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II. The 20-year-old Nigerian was honoured for raising over $2 million worth of grants to start a mentorship programme for young Africans all over the world,” Dabiri-Erewa said.

At age 20 Kennedy is already making waves around the world.
