Like the Billboard charts are to music in America, the Official Charts, which are compiled by the Official Charts Company, tabulate the relative weekly popularity of songs and albums in the UK, separating them into the ‘Official Singles Chart’ and the ‘Official Albums Chart’.
Ever since Outside was released, Burna Boy’s music has been thriving all around the world, so this milestone comes as no surprise. African Giant has also debuted at No, 104 on ‘Billboard’s 200’ chart, showing that his music is really being appreciated worldwide.
With strong performances, a consistent theme, far-reaching features and great production work, Burna Boy certainly struck gold with African Giant. With this album, he has certainly announced himself as a force to be reckoned with, and all the accolades he’s nabbing are well-deserved.
