Ganduje praises Buhari, NASS leadership for ministerial nominees, committees’ chairmen

Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State has commended President Muhammadu Buhari for appointing General Bashir Salihi Magashi (rtd) and Alhaji Muhammad Sabo Nanono as would-be ministers of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and have just been screened successfully by the Senate.

He praised the Senate President, Senator Ahmad Lawan for appointing Malam Ibrahim Shekarau as the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Public Service and Establishment; Senator Kabiru Ibrahim Gaya, as the Chairman Senate Committee on Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and Senator Barau Jibrin as the Chairman Senate Committee on Appropriation.

He made the commendation at the inauguration reception dinner organised by Sha’aban Sharada Foundation, to rejoice with the member representing Kano Municipal Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Sha’aban Ibrahim Sharada as  the Chairman House Committee on National Security and Intelligence, over his election, inauguration and appointment as the Chairman of an important House Committee.

While disclosing that, his government had been working together with Magashi and Nanono, for  long, he also made it clear that, he would continue to work with them assiduously for a successful second tenure of Buhari regime.
