Manchester United suffered a 2-0 defeat at Wolves in the Premier League Boxing Day fixture on Thursday.
It was United’s third consecutive defeats after going down to Tottenham Hotspur and Bournemouth.
Heading into the game United had won their last four meetings with Wolves. The last time United lost to Wolves was in 2022.
Matheus Cunha and Hwang Hee-chan were the scorers for Wolves while United captain Bruno Fernandes was sent off.
After a goalless first half United were reduced to 10 men just three minutes into the second half after Fernandes received his second yellow card.
Wolves took advantage and scored on 58 minutes through Cunha before Hee-chan made it 2-0 on 99 minutes.
United are now in 14th spot on 22 points while Wolves are 18th on 15 points on the log.
