UCLQ: Osayi-Samuel In Action As Fenerbache Draw Vs Lille, Crash Out

Super Eagles right-back Bright Osayi-Samuel was in action for Fenerbahce, who crashed out in the UEFA Champions League qualifiers on Tuesday.

After losing the first leg 2-1, Osayi-Samuel and his teammates could only secure a 1-1 draw against extra-time to go out on 3-2 aggregate.

It marks a disappointing start to Jose Mourinho’s time in charge of Fenerbahce.

The Turkish giants appeared to be going out until Bafode Diakite’s late own goal sent the match to extra time.

Lille substitute Aissa Mandi was sent off on his debut for a reckless challenge on Irfan Can Kahveci.

But Lille were awarded a penalty for a handball by Jayden Oosterwolde and Jonathan David scored.
