Ahead of the game , Nwali, as reported by sportxvibe.com alluded to Doko’s scrabble prowess, revealing he has been watching scrabble competition outside the country in an effort to improve his moves on the board.

“Doko is the highest rated scrabble player in Africa and in Nigeria, so it is my pleasure to engage in those numbers of games we are going to play, but ahead of the game, I have not been doing anything differently than do revision, practice a lot of games and thankfully, there are some competitions in the USA. I am analyzing their moves and just learning from them,” he said.

He recounted his previous games with Doko, saying they both have the same record of winning and losing when they encounter each other.

“I and Timi, we had played at various events and the last one we played last was at the West African Games, it was like five games to go and he won and from there, he went on to win the tournament because that was like the deciding point for him and in Asaph Zadok, I met him and won and I went up to win the tournament,” he said.
