The Presidency has announced plans by the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN to offer loans to National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members.
Bashir Ahmad, media aide to President Muhammadu Buhari disclosed this on his official Twitter page.
Ahmaad said Governor of CBN, Godwin Emefiele is presently making arrangement to start giving loans to corps members.
According to him, the loan will be repaid in seven years.
Ahmaad wrote: “The CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele discloses that the Bank has completed arrangements to offer loans to NYSC members to commence small and medium scale enterprises.
“ The loan which is conceived out of the need to reduce unemployment rate in the country will be repaid in 7 years.”
