IGP, Usman Baba Alkali Meets With Solomon Arase To Improve Police, PSC Relationship

The Inspector-General of Police, Usman Baba Alkali met with the new Chairperson of the Police Service Commission (PSC), Solomon Arase.

Alkali met with Arase, who is also a former IGP at the PSC conference room at the Federal Secretariat, Abuja on Monday.

The duo discussed measures to improve the mutual relationship between the NPF and the PSC, as well as identify new pathways for a stronger partnership.

While addressing journalists after the meeting, the police boss said that his visit will improve the relationship between the police and PSC as well as enhance the security situation of the country.

Baba said, “I am at the Police Service Commission to congratulate the assumption to office of the new chairman, IGP Solomon Arase (retd.).

“When there is proper leadership, guidance, sense of direction, discipline, promotion, appointment, people will be motivated to do the right thing”.

Kanyi Daily recalls that the meeting comes less than one week after President Muhammadu Buhari swore in Arase as the new PSC chairperson.

In other news, Nigerian singer, Mr Easi has congratulated his colleague, Joseph Akinwale, popularly known as Joeboy on the acquisition of his fourth House.

Joeboy had on Sunday evening taken to his official Instagram handle to announce he bought a new house.
