Unfortunately for us, considering how talented he is, Praiz‘s vocals are a rather rare commodity — his track are few and far between. Nevertheless, although they might not come as often as we’d like, whenever we are treated with new music, he always delivers.
Today‘s offering, “Hustle” featuring Stonebwoy, is another addition to Praiz’s discography that bears testimony to that fact.
The inspiring track spreads a message about working hard to lift yourself and those around you out of poverty. Praiz warns us not to retreat when people disregard us, assuring us that God always has a plan and hard work will always pay off.
On his solid verse, Stonebwoy adopts his Jamaican patios delivery, and it fits perfectly with the song’s reggae tenets, offering a captivating rift between Praiz’s show-stopping vocals. It’s a collaboration that we wouldn’t have expected to work, but it does.
“Hustle” comes as the lead single off Praiz’s sophomore album — which is set to feature some of the biggest African stars working today — and if the rest of the project is as awesome as this song, Praiz’s next album is going to be phenomenal.
