Meanwhile, Borussia Monchengladbach are on the road at Eintracht, while Borussia Dortmund head to Nurnberg

The 22nd round of action in Germany’s Bundesliga gets underway this coming weekend with some intriguing story lines in the mix. On Saturday afternoon (16 February), RB Leipzig head to struggling Stuttgart, while the following day Borussia Monchengladbach visit an in-form Eintracht Frankfurt outfit. And on Monday evening, league leaders Borussia Dortmund will be hoping to extend their led at the top of the table away to Nurnberg.

First things first

Before you go any further, head on over to the Oddsshark website, find your favourite betting site and get your own account up and running using your credit card. As a new customer and with the Bundesliga season now over halfway through, there should be a wide range of promotions and special offers available to you.

Where should I be investing my money?

First up, the clash between Stuttgart and RB Leipzig on Saturday afternoon. Stuttgart come into this game in desperately poor form – they are without a win in their last six league outings and are third from the bottom in the table – to make matters worse, Stuttgart are priced at just 1.66 to suffer relegation this term.

RB Leipzig, in stark contrast, are coming into this game on the back of some good form, having gone four matches unbeaten across all competitions. They currently sit fourth in the league and are at just 1.33 to stay there until the end of the season.

It is therefore of no surprise to see that it is RB Leipzig who come into this match as the clear favourites to take the points. You can back the visitors to win at just 1.65 while Stuttgart, despite home advantage, are out at 5.25 to do the same – a draw is priced in the middle at 4.00, according to Oddsshark.

We are expecting a comfortable afternoon for RB Leipzig. A 2-0 win for the away side is priced at 8.50, meaning that a US$5 bet would lead to a US$42.50 pay out, while you can more than double your money by backing under 2.5 goals in the game at 2.10.

Monchengladbach could catch Bayern at Eintracht

The following day, Borussia Monchengladbach travel to Eintracht Frankfurt knowing that a win could well draw them level on points with defending champions Bayern Munich, provided that Bayern lose on Friday night. Eintracht come into this match having drawn their last four matches across all competitions.

Borussia Monchengladbach have seen their form pick up since the winter break. They have won their last four league outings on the bounce and can come into this tricky tie brimming with confidence.

And while the betting is tight, it is Eintracht who come in as the slight favourites to pick up the win. You can more than double your money by backing the home side to take all three points at 2.30, while Borussia are only slightly higher at 3.00 – a draw would appear to be the least likely outcome and is priced accordingly at 3.60.

But with these sides so evenly matched, on paper at least, we feel that it could well end up a stalemate. A 1-1 draw is priced at 7.00, while you can again more than double your money by backing under 2.5 goals in the game at 2.30.

Dortmund must win at struggling Nurnberg

And finally, Monday Night Football this week sees lowly Nurnberg host table toppers Borussia Dortmund. Nurnberg have won just two league games all season and have gone a whopping 17 games across all competitions without w win – their last victory came all the way back on 29 September.

Dortmund meanwhile are having a little wobble of their own. They are now without a win in their last four matches across all competitions and their lead at the top of the table has been cut down to five points – they are at 1.90 to win the league title this season, the same price as Bayern Munich.

Regarding this match, it is Dortmund who come in as the overwhelming favourites to collect a much needed three points. You can back the visitors to get back to winning ways at just 1.40 while Nurnberg, despite home advantage, are out at 7.50 to do the same – a draw is priced in the middle at 5.00.

This should be a stroll in the park for Dortmund. A comprehensive, 3-0 win for the away side is priced competitively at 10.00, thereby offering a ten-fold return on any investment, while you can more than double your money by backing a “No” to both teams scoring at 2.10.
