The Super Eagles of Nigeria has moved two places up and are now in the 29th position of the latest world FIFA rankings.
The football governing body, FIFA released the rankings on Thursday. Nigeria got 1493 points despite not having a game when the review was done.
They moved from 31st position in 2019, and are now in 29th in latest ranking released by FIFA.
In Africa, Super Eagles moved to third position, trailing only Tunisia and Senegal who occupy first and second positions.
The last game played by Gernot Rohr’s men was in November 19, during African Cup of Nations qualifier against Lesotho where they won 4-2.
Meanwhile, Belgium are still first in the world, followed closely by France, then Brazil before England.
Other countries to make up the first 10 in world’s ranking are Uruguay, Croatia, Argentina, Spain and Columbia.
