An eight storey building under construction collapsed today in Owerri, Imo state capital.

Many people are feared dead after an eight storey building that is still under construction collapsed this evening, April 30. The building is located along Musa Yar’Adua drive in Owerri Municipal Council Area of Imo State. 

There is ongoing rescue operation at the scene of the incident. One person has been confirmed dead while several others are still trapped in the rubbles.
