The Supreme Court has dismissed the application filed before it by former governor of Imo state, Emeka Ihedioha.
Honorable Ihedioha and his party, PDP, approached supreme court, seeking a review of the January 14th judgement that sacked Ihedioha from office and instated Hope Uzodinma as the governor of the state.

In a ruling delivered yesterday, a panel of judges led by the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Ibrahim Muhammad Tanko, dismissed the application on grounds that it lacked merit.
However, one of the judges out of the seven-man panel, Chima Chiweze, disagreed with the judgement.
