A 20-Year old man, Abiodun Ajileye, has expressed delight by opting to go to prison than to refund about N378,000 he allegedly stole from his boss, Abiodun Olayinka, after he was reportedly caught using the money to play gamble in order to become rich in Lagos.
Ajileye was arrested and charged before the Isolo Magistrates Court for stealing the money, using it to play Naijabet lottery and it failed.
He pleaded not guilty before the Court and was granted bail for trial which lasted for several months.

He was said to have anticipated that he will win big with the lucky numbers, which failed and he was asked about the money. He then confessed that he used it to play gamble.
The matter was reported to the Police at Isolo Division and he was arrested. After interrogation, he was charged to Court, where he was found guilty and sentenced accordingly.
He was granted bail in the sum of N50,000 with two sureties in like sum before the trial commenced and he was eventually jailed.
