Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ilorin Zonal Office, have arrested ten suspected internet fraudsters, better known as Yahoo Boys, in Kwara State.
A statement sighted by Igbere TV on the Commission’s social media handle on Thursday said they were arrested over alleged offenses bordering on internet fraud and other fraud-related offences.
“The auspects were arrested on Monday, October 21, 2019 in Basin Area of Ilorin following intelligence reports over their involvement in internet fraud and other fraud-related Offences”, EFCC said.
It listed the suspects as Paul Chibuzor, David Daniels, Tolu Ogundowole, Tosin Ogundowole, Agwu Goodness, Olayiwola Azeez, Olamide Ijisesan, Chilaka Dickson, Abdullahi Abubakar and Temitope Bambo.
