Just like the popular saying, when two elephants are fighting, only the grass suffers it, here is the aftermath of the fight between Hausa and Yoruba youths on the 19th August, 2019.

In the video making rounds online, the traders could be seen reminiscing on their goods worth millions that were destroyed during the fight.

Some Igbo’s equally complained of their own shops being destroyed despite not partaking in the brawl.

Recall that two persons were feared killed and many others injured on the Sunday at the Ilepo Market in the Oke Odo area of Lagos State.

According reports, a Hausa porter, popularly known as Alabo or Bolar boy, mistakenly hit a Yoruba man with the tray he was using to convey goods for traders.

The disagreement was said to have degenerated into a fight between the duo.

Soon, hoodlums from both ethnic groups took over the fight, which turned to a free-for-all.
