Monica Lewinsky made a cheeky blowjob joke in reference to a statement by Vice President Mike Pence.
Lewinsky, famous for her affair in the 1990s with then-President Bill Clinton, took to Twitter to make the joke after Pence tweeted imploring Americans to “spend more time on your knees than on the internet.”
Journalist Lauren Duca tweeted a link to the article about remarks Pence made in defense of his wife, who teaches at an anti-LGBTQ Christian school.
She captioned the article: “Ok, who’s gonna tell him?”
And the 46-year-old, who Republicans including Pence maligned for the time she spent on her knees at the White House, replied: “Def not me.”
Twitter users were highly impressed with her response and they praised her for owning her story and taking her power back.
