“Because Of Ego, Honouring MKO Abiola By Buhari Is To Obasanjo’s Shame” – Peter Ayodele Fayose

The former Ekiti state governor, Peter Ayodele Fayose reacts to Obasanjo been absent from the June 12 celebration. Gistvic Reports.


Fayose said its so sad that because of ego, Obasanjo who’s the greatest beneficiary of the June 12, 1993 failed to honour his kinsman, MKO Abiola.


We could recall in a post by Gistvic that Ex-president Olusegun Obasanjo was seen in London few hours after Buhari’s victory.


He wrote:

“Honouring MKO Abiola by @MBuhari is to Obasanjo’s shame.It remains a sore-point of his political history that because of ego, Obasanjo, who’s the greatest beneficiary of the June 12, 1993 struggle failed to honour his kinsman, MKO Abiola. So, I commend President Buhari.”
