APC wins Fayose’s Poling Unit | PDP wins Ajimobi’s Poling Unit

Ayodele Fayose, former governor of Ekiti state, on Saturday failed to deliver his polling unit and ward in his hometown Afao Ekiti area of the state to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

On the flip side, Seyi Makinde, governorship candidate of the PDP in Oyo state, defeated Adebayo Adelabu, his APC rival, at the polling unit of Abiola Ajimobi, the incumbent governor.
IN EKITI, at Fayose’s unit, the APC candidate in Irepodun/Ifelodun constituency (2), Hakeem Jamiu, polled 168 votes to defeat the PDP’s candidate, Sunday Omosilade, who got just 26 votes.

IN OYO, Makinde of the PDP polled 145 votes to defeat Adelabu of the APC who had 112 votes at Oluyole Community Grammar School, Ibadan, where the governor voted.
