EFCC operatives on Saturday intercepted bags of cash meant for vote-buying at North Bank area of Makurdi, Benue State capital. In an attempt to arrest the culprit, some thugs attacked the anti-corruption officials and vandalised the bus used for patrol.
The bags of money are with security operatives. Investigating is ongoing.
