Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp, has expressed his sad feelings over how the global pandemic, COVID-19, has kept him away from his players.

According to the German professional football manager, the lockdown caused by the whirlwind spreading virus, Coronavirus (COVID-19) is making situations worst as he has been away from his players during the time which is affecting their training.

Naija News understands that the English Premier League side and UEFA Champions, Liverpool FC are currently making use of different workouts hosted via video link, a modern-day technology as they train remotely.

Speaking with the club website a few moments ago, Klopp said, “It’s getting worse, the longer it takes. I accept the situation 100 per cent like it is but the longer you don’t see somebody you like, the more it hurts.”

“That’s the situation we are in at the moment,” Klopp told the club website.”

However, Liverpool FC is at the top of the Premier League table, leading their closest challenger, Manchester City by 25 points before the league was suspended due to the coronavirus breakout.
