President Muhammadu Buhari will address Nigerians by 7pm today on what to do next as the two weeks lockdown comes to an end.

Buhari had on Sunday, March 29, 2020 declared a total lockdown in Lagos, Abuja, and Ogun during a nationwide broadcast to contain the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) in the country.

There have been anxieties in many quarters whether the lockdown would be extended or lifted.

According to a statement issued by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina in Abuja, Monday, the president will by 7pm address Nigerians on the next line of action.

He said, “President Muhammadu Buhari will broadcast to the nation Monday, April 13, 2020 at 7pm.

“Television, radio and other electronic media outlets are enjoined to hook up to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) respectively for the broadcast.”
