United Kingdom Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, was on Sunday discharged from hospital after receiving treatment for coronavirus (COVID-19).
Naija News recalls that the British PM had spent three days in intensive care.
“The PM has been discharged from hospital to continue his recovery, at Chequers,” a Downing spokesman said, referring to the prime minister’s country estate outside London.
“On the advice of his medical team, the PM will not be immediately returning to work.”
This online news platform recalls that Boris Johnson, infected with the novel coronavirus, had last Thursday left intensive care.
“The Prime Minister has been transferred from intensive care to another department of the hospital, where he will be placed under close surveillance during the initial phase of his recovery,” his spokesman said in a statement. “His morale is extremely good”.
