BREAKING: NCDC confirms 10 new cases of COVID-19, total now 224

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control(NCDC)  on Sunday confirmed 10 new cases of coronavirus.

six cases were confirmed  in Lagos, two cases confirmed in the FCT, two  in Edo.

Two new deaths have been recorded in Lagos and Edo State with 27 patients discharged.

As at 11:15 am 5th April there are 224 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria.

Twenty-seven have been discharged with five deaths

The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has just announced that 10 new cases of COVID-19 has been confirmed in the country.

The NCDC made this known via its Twitter account a few minutes ago.

Ten new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria: 6 in Lagos, 2 in FCT and 2 in Edo” tweeted the agency.

In the new data published by the NCDC , 27 people have been discharged while five patients have died. This is a slight increase from yesterday’s numbers which recorded 25 discharged patients and 4 deaths.

Lagos, Abuja and Ogun are about to enter the second week of the 14-day lockdown ordered by President Buhari
