Award-winning Afropop singer, David Adeleke also known as Davido has said he is ready to get his fiancée pregnant again has disclosed that he lost his mother, Veronica Adeleke, when he was barely 11years and was very broke.

The Risky crooner speaking to Pulse TV also further stated that his hard work brought him this far and not because of his father’s influence.

Davido also recounted that when his mother died, he knew what he needed to do. He said the normal cycle for rich kids was to go to school, graduate and work for their parents, but he had to break that and hustle for his own money.

According to him, it was not easy and it demanded serious hard work from him.

“I was very broke, it wasn’t funny. Do you know that most rich pikins no get money? Because they don’t feel they need to work or aspire to be something,” he said.

“I fought to do this music, I come from a family that you go to school, graduate and work for pop but I had to fight,” he added.
