Super Eagles duo Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi were in action for Leicester City who pipped Birmingham City 1-0 at the King Power Stadium, in the fifth round of the Emirates FA Cup on Wednesday, Completesports.com reports.
The hero for Leicester was Ricardo Pereira whose goal with eight minutes remaining, secured Leicester’s passage into the last eight.
Iheanacho saw 90 minutes of action while Ndidi was replaced in the 60th minute.

At the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Norwich City edged Spurs 3-2 on penalties after 120 minutes of football ended 1-1.
Spurs broke the deadlock through Jan Vertonghen on 13 minutes before Josip Drmic equalised for Norwich on 78 minutes.
In the shootout, Dutch keeper Tim Krul was the hero for Norwich as he stopped Eric Lamela and Gedson Fernandes’ kicks.
FA Cup holders Manchester City defeated Sheffield Wednesday 1-0 away to continue their march towards defending their title.
Sergio Aguero’s 53rd minute strike was enough to earn City the needed win.
And in the quarter-final draw that was made on Wednesday night, Arsenal will be guests to Sheffield United, Newcastle United will host Manchester City, Leicester will welcome Chelsea while Norwich will be at home to either Derby County or Manchester United.
Both United and Derby will face each other in the fifth-round tie on Thursday.
