The three-time African champions moved from its September tally of 1482 to 1481.
Senegal maintained their 20th spot, which is still their best ever FIFA ranking and first position in the continent. Tunisia are 29th in the world and second in Africa.
Belgium, France, Brazil and England are still the best four nations in the world, while Uruguay have climbed up into fifth place
