President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the composition of the Board of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC). The president’s approval is, however, subject to Senate confirmation.

Olusegun Adekunle, permanent secretary in the office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), announced the appointment in a statement on Tuesday, August 27, the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports.

The new chairman of the NDDC, as approved by the president, is Pius Odubu who is a former deputy governor of Edo state.
